Speed, Agility and Conditioning training plays an important role in preventing injury and now it's more critical then ever. Playing multiple sports is becoming more difficult for various reasons including pressure on kids and parents to stick with the clubs and scholastic single sports all year long.

Off season Speed, Agility and Conditioning training plays an important role in preventing injury and now it's more critical then ever. Playing multiple sports is becoming more difficult for various reasons including pressure on kids and parents to stick with the clubs and scholastic single sports all year long. It becomes even more important for the athletes to take ideally six week off (no competition or practice) and participate in a athletic agility, skills and conditioning program with agility & strength/muscle development a focal point. If this can be repeated again during the year, so much the better. This break will not only reduce overuse but encourage a strong foundation in injury prevention.
